Sugar Bytes Unique

So I found this awesome little AU/VST plug-in called Unique from Sugar Bytes. They claim it will give you "the Daft Punk sound". I am not so sure about that, as you would probably also have to liberally sample from some obscure 70s or 80s funk or disco track to truly achieve the Daft Punk sound! LOL! Oops, did I say that out loud? But seriously, this little synth is a lot of fun and definitely lives up to its name. I could waffle on about oscillators and filters, but it's easier to just check out their website here.

Full Version Price: 129€ / 169$ US. One could also try before they buy here.

The Elsiane show last night was amazing, as usual. Apparently it might be the last one in Montreal for awhile, as the band is planning to relocate to LA to further their career. It's a smart move, but they will be missed. I got to chat with them after the show and helped sing Happy Birthday to Elsieanne!
You can check out my remix of Morphing by Elsiane on my Indaba profile!
Here is a clip from the show, followed by a recent interview with them:

Here is my latest track, which I have called "Sef" for now. Until some lyrics arrive, that will be its name.

The Sensual World

I pretty much have been following Kate Bush all my life. When I was a kid, I remember being in love with the synth riff from Running Up That Hill. Later, the video for The Sensual World intrigued me. She was an influence for Björk and even Tupac Shakur sang her praises. I just love her voice, her lyrics and the dreamworld she creates on all her songs. Hounds Of Love is an insane album. I have done a cover of Cloudbusting and sampled And Dream Of Sheep for a track I call "Little Light" which I didn't end up using. Her last album Aerial was stunning. I can't wait for the next one.
